Corporate History
- Started business as a private establishment for the purpose of exporting southern Kyushu products
- Established Yumiba Trading Co., LTD.
- Started importing supported by strong yen after the Plaza Accord and focused on develop-and-import scheme
- Reorganized as a joint-stock corporation and started direct sales of imported products to retail stores
- Awarded as a company contributing to import promotion by the Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry
- Acquired and moved to an office with a warehouse in the Kagoshima General Wholesale Complex
- Started wholesaling of domestically purchased and imported products to the southern Kyushu area
- Started export of processed foods
- Certified as a “Company Driving Regional Growth” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
- Received The Order of The Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays Award
- Received the Foreign Minister’s Commendations Award
